Ok all you Partagas freaks out there, I need some answers..
I enjoyed a No. 4 this evening on my back porch. It had a wonderful aroma and burned pretty even. The only thing that has me curious is the consistency of the cigar. Mine seemed to burn and draw very very hot from the get go. In fact, the only thing that made the cigar a little unpleasent was how hot it seemed to burn. Now, I wasn't drawing on it every two seconds to warm it up, I was drawing as normal as normal can be. Overall, I thought the cigar was great, but it needs to cool down a little. Are they all this way? I'd like to try another just to see for myself. Anyone intrested in trading stick for stick?
On a side note, the ash was a bit dark, which I have read and been told by other fellow LLG's that the dark ash usually is a sign of poor soil conditions and a lack of minerals. That could be an old wives tale, but nonetheless, I shant grapple with such insignificant items such as dark ash. I seem to have a proclivity to look at every aspect of the cigar, maybe to the point of absurdity.
I digress.
