Hi to All,

What a great forum you gents have here. It's fantastic to have a place to talk, compare, and advise each other on stogie's.

I feel a little spoiled as I live in Canada and the majority of you have to work hard to obtain your Cuban sticks down south. It's just not fair

I've been only smoking cigar's for a year, so my taste buds are not as refined as most on this board. However, based on your reviews and testimonials I am trying to learn and decifer the different flavours in the cigars i smoke. So hopefully in the near future i will be able to supply you guys with more discriptive reviews.

My favorite size is a Robusto.

Currently in my humi I have:
( All Cuban)

Ryj Ex #4
Partagas SD4's
RyJ Robusto LE's (Personal favorite, multiple orgasmic)
Hoyo Piramides LE's ( had one last night, great burning med-full bodied)

I really enjoy trying new cigars even of non-cuban origin, as I am not a cuban stogie snob and beleive in giving every cigar a fair chance!! Unfortunately up here in the great white north we know more about Cuban's than any other region.

The RyJ Ro LE's are in my relatively short experience, the most well balanced cigar I have smoked.

Unfortunately they are extremely difficult to obtain, I have 2 more boxes in my buddies walk-in humi and will be letting these gems age for a while.

Well I hope I didn't ramble on, hoepfully I'll be able to contribute to the board and look forward to all your helpful advice as well.

Cheers

Yes, its hard work to aquire havanas here in the US...

1) go to website
2) click your selections
3) fill in blanks
4) wait for mailman

optional steps taken once in a while...

5) email source and ask if they shipped
6) wait for mailman
7) wait for letter from US Customs
8) wait for mailman
9) jump for joy when boxes arrive
10) cuss out mailman for being so damn late
11) appologize to mailman, because you really want all your future orders to arrive too.
12) email source and appolgize for being impatient and for the 11 emails in 14 days you sent him.:D

Thank you very much for the warm welcome. Poker, I feel even worse as I have taken this privaledge of obtaining fine Habanos for granted. So as punishment, I'm going to sentence myself with smoking MC Robo EL tonight that I just traded a friend for.

First time smokng this bad boy, I'll post a review tomorrow.

cheers

Welcome!

Being from Detroit, we used to do weekends in Toronto two or three times a year. Excellant town. Cool people. Great nightlife. Am still dying for a Wings-Leafs Cup.
