I have tried a couple and I wouldn't say they where close at all.
They are not bad smokes - just not ones I would purchase.
LMK I have 1 left if you want it.

I like both the Ultimates and the Ultimate Cabinets. They're a very good Honduran for a great price. Close to Padron? Nope. Like comparing apples to oranges (Honduran to Nicaraguran). Fire me your snailer and I'll send you a little selection to try if you want.

i appreciate your generous offers. thanks!

what i'm actually looking for is a decent padron alternative. something that doesn't cost a ton, but that tastes as close as possible to a padron (no, not a PAN or PAM, just a regular padron).

any ideas and/or suggestions on this?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON May-18-02 AT 08:57 PM (CDT)]the only non-isom i smoke on a regular basis is padron mad 3k. they sell them at atlantic cigar for $70 a box. that seems fairly inexpensive to me even with shipping added.

sheet man.... here in the Peoples Republic of California, they get like 20 bucks a stick for those things.... well, maybe not everywhere, but here in the Santa Cruz/Montery area they do.

i like the PAM's a lot, but because i'm poor and smoke the cheap stuff on a regular basis, i really have come to enjoy the Padron 2k's and 5k's.

........i need to get out of this damn state!
