never have split a box with somebody.was wondering ,on a box split ,who gets the 13th smoke?

If somebody wants the box (assuming it's cedar) I think they could take that and 12 smokes. If nobody cares about the box then the originator of the split takes 13 as others have said. I request the box for a coolerdor entry and feel it's a fair trade for the 13th stick...

To me it's not so much who planned it but who eventually antes up the CC# and does the added trip to the P.O. the send the other 12 sticks to their secondary destination.
I won't split boxes with guys I work with anymore because they won't assume risks (now greater than ever) from vendors with no guarentee.
That's it, bro! Cut 'em off! LOL What are they special or something?

my friend and i roshambo eachother for the 13th smoke... but not roshambo in the usual sense, but using eric cartman's rules- i kick him in the balls, and then he kicks me in the balls, and so on... the first one to drop to his knees loses. i, of course, prefer to go first. ;)

Not when he can always be assured of getting 26 from good old Duffer! I quite frankly find that appealing. Wait, did I write "appealing"? I think I meant "appalling". Well, you get the picture. After spending all this time on this topic, we're finally starting to separate the wheat from the chaff.
