About time for her to come out with an album. She really did another great job as she did with the first 2 with hole. She has this mix of punk, grunge and rock. a few good ballads thrown in as well. if you liked the first 2 cd's this is a must buy.
Wow, this surprises me. With the issues she is dealing with I was surprised she could focus on her music. Good for her fans!

hey i bet she was stoned every day when she did Live Through This and it was a raw edgy cd and still one of my 10 faves.

She's a wild one that lady, my wife loves "Live Through This", I've always liked her ex-husbands music, who by the way killed himself 10 years ago today.
Kurt Cobain (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/artsentertainment/2001894366_cobain05.html) was the real deal, they had this old town on its' ear from '89 till '94......I was living in downtown Seattle in a condo at the time, that darn Nirvana was the one exciting band. ( in retrospect, I wished I would of saved everyone of the 1000's of "Nirvana" playbills slapped up on telephone poles throughout town in the early 90s'!) They were tearing up clubs and halls to shreds. Amazing. Another tragic ending. I wonder what Kurt's take on Justin Timberlake would of been?

I know that she had sued her music company over the fact that newer artist are not paid very much so she may have had to drop the name in order to make music. i will try to look it up and give you an answer.
