I have read about 100 pages of "For Your Own Good : The Anti-Smoking Crusade and the Tyranny of Public Health," by Jacob Sullum and have found it to be very enlightening. His thesis is that the debate over smoking is really more about the nature of liberty. His argument is that the government should not limit the choices of citizens as to whether or not to smoke.

Sullum also exposes the lies and fallacies the anti-smoking crusade uses to make its case. His critique of the anti-smoking campaign is simply amazing.

I was wondering if anyone else may have read this book and if so, what were their impressions?
