I recently bought this and another tin off of a member of another forum, not really knowing what to expect. The price was good. The reviews on tobacco reviews are here:
http://tobaccoreviews.com/blend_detail.cfm?ALPHA=G&TID=909
As you can see, they aren't exactly favourable. After reading them I was a little nervous when trying it for the first time. The reviews had said that this stuff comes very wet, but when I opened the tin it wasn't super wet. All of those reviews are from '02 and '03 so maybe Peter Stokkebye fixed that. I let it sit open for about an hour and loaded a bowl in my Kaywoodie that I smoke burley blends in.
I would call this a mild semi-aromatic. It tastes sort of like it smells, like berries. Usually when I'm smoking I can't really smell what I'm smoking, but I've smoked this with a friend around he said it smelled great. I really like the burley taste in this blend. It really doesn't bite like the reviews say it does. Give it a try sometime if your looking for a crowd pleaser that really does taste good.
