I bought 1oz of a tobacco from my local B&M called English Oriental Supreme, I guess it was made by Stokkebye cause that's the only manufacturer who came up on tobacooreviews.com with that name.

Overall it was a pretty good smoke, definitely didn't smell like the aromatics I'm used to when I sniffed the unlight tobacco. Reminded me of heavy leather with some sweetness to it, but it was definitely a foreign smell to me.

Lighting it up from the top it started out really mild, but as I continued down the bowl, I actually started getting a different taste. I can't pinpoint it but it was different than my aromatics. I was really suprised that the smell of the smoke wasn't at all offending to the people around me because they themselves said it reaked :tu It burned hot maybe once and I had to light it a couple of times, but that was probably due to user error :ss

Finally one thing to note is that I got the sweetest aftertaste when I was done with the bowl, no bite at all.

Being that I just started smoking pipes, this blend may send me down a very slippery slope...

I maybe wrong but I think that's a characteristics of Latakia tobacco.
