"A light fragrant burley and matured virginia.........with a hint of distinctive Louisiana preique". I bought a 100g tin of this stuff a few months ago. When I opened the can and stuffed my nose in it, as I always do, it had a full rich aroma that for my lack of experience reminded me more of opening a fresh box of Raisin Bran than of anything else. There are primarily three colors of tobacco here; black, dark brown and a slightly light medium brown fairly evenly mixed, I assume being respectively perique, virginia and burley. So far as nicotene level is concerned I would say its a relatively mild mixture, somewhere closer to a Middleton than to a Gawith. Its lights easily and rises up quite a bit due to its cut and texture. At first it seems to be a bit bland but as you get further into the bowl the hints of sweetness become more noticable and I would say its really at its peak in the bottom half of the bowl. Also there is no concern with it becoming overwhelmingly strong towards the bottom, even in a large bowl. Its not what I would refer to as a great smoke but its not bad either. On a 1-10, I'd give it a 6 or 7. Its a good all day smoke or something to ease into beginning of your day and aside from being a bit bland its a pretty decent blend.

Great review on a Va/per :) Guess you did know what it was just didn't have a name for it.
