So many over the past couple years the list would be too long to fit on the page.
Most recently? Stewart (tech-ninja). He stepped up to the plate at the beginning of the MMH to do whatever he could to help the MoB get it runnng smoothly....just because that's the kind of guy he is.
Catfish, because of the rarity of the N/C stuff he's been bombing...A new-er guy really stepping up to the plate here at CS.

This is really tough to answer and since I have only been around for six months. I could make a list of at least 20-30 gorillas. One that continues to be a good friend, which I have not seen for a few months is Papajohn. Reggiebuckeye impressed me today with a big bomb...

I am going to give a real simple answer: The last person that I interacted with and had an intelligent conversation with. I have been attracted to this place by the quality of most of the people even more so than the cigars or bombs or any of the other peripheral activities around here. It's nice to have a place for intelligent interaction where my occasional old fart grouchy days are tolerated.:ss

Tough question to answer.....to which it cannot be centered on one individual. Most all in the jungle add something to every thread, all are always well thought out, some you agree with some you don't but all-in-all everyone is a plank owner on that one.

I can't give a full answer to this until my bombs are delivered. I have interacted with so many wonderful people here. It is hard to pull out a name and say on or two. I am amazed at all of the things people put together and run just because. They don't do it for any recognition. They do it because they want to. I admire that. This is the only community I have been a part of online that I just talk about forever. You guys are AWESOME.

I will reiterate what some of the gorillas before me have said.
I can't name any 1, 2 or even 30 people who have impressed me. To name just the last would essentially leave out so many others who do on a daily basis.
IMHO, you would have a much smaller list if you named this thread "Who is unimpressive/annoying"
I may be able to come up with 1 or 2 names for that one.
This is a great community and filled with people who would give a limb to help out. I am just happy to be a part of it.

the "last" CS member to impress me?
kheffelf - not because he recently overpayed his portion of the pipe tobacco lottery. nope, it's for all his hard work in getting the 2007 ClubStogie forum pipe under control and they're being worked on as we speak. he's done a great job handling all that, including the pissing and moaning from fellow gorillas because they didn't like the shape/stem/whatever...
i'd bump him again if i could, very well deserved.
the next to last was?
rjs - yes, the co-founder of clubstogie. not because he managed to stand upright after so many martini's at the chicago herf, but his passion for keeping clubstogie "snob-free" and the work he and many elders put into CS back in the day, and that vibe still rings true today.
the firsts to impress me?
fredster, poker, motheman, drill, seagarsmoker, bruce5, mcgoospot, dvickery, lamar, brandon, and countless other guys who helped me when i was new here with their own cigar experiences - and they weren't SNOBS about it or looking for recognition from the masses.

Can't answer that. It's kinda like asking a parent who their favorite child is, or having two friends present and having them ask who your best friend is. Most Recently, it was Booker. I just mentioned how I needed the stinky, and a few days later, its sitting on my deck. Guess I just answered it...interesting

So many have had a lasting impression on me during my time in the Jungle. I could never list them all, but there are a few that I have really became close to and value their opinions and advice very much.
txdyna65...Kenny is probably the person I am closest to here at CS. We have bombed each other, traded back and forth, carried on numerous conversations via PM, etc... He is a top notch Gorilla, and someone I consider a friend.
volfan....Scottie was my very first trade here in the Jungle, and since then has really been a role model to me and countless others. He's a stand up guy and someone I also consider a friend.
icehog3...Tom...What can I say about Tom other than the fact he is one of the finest in the Jungle with a sense of humor to match his heart of gold. Truly an asset to CS who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.
68TriShield....Dave is as good as they come, and always willing to listen and offer suggestions, not to mention getting me on Skype with the earphone mic that first night, and riding me until I got a headset.
pnoon...Peter is a great role model and an awesome MOD who doesn't let that title go to his head. He does an excellent job of keeping on top of things here in the Jungle. His opinion I value and highly respect.
Countless others here have impressed me at one time or another since I've been here, but the five above stand out the most for me.

Txdyna65. Kenny was a great BOTL in bombing me with "one"[yeah right] Torano Signature.
Bruce: not only is he worldly known for his cigar knowledge, but he's taken up the pipe full force. that's not the impressive part. he's been helping newbies left and right with his info (that he's dug up himself in his own quest for knowledge), and gifting tobacco for newbies to try. he may be personally responsible for 10+ new pipe smokers in the past handful of months.
yes, he smokes the good stuff, he pampers himself with great pipes, but he's not a snob about it - that's what he likes and can afford, so why not. then, if he finds something isn't to his liking, he'll offer it up, tobacco or pipes, for sale to the members of the pipe forum.
2nd, and this is just this morning - bonggoy: he's been running the "pipe tobacco make a wish" very smoothly, it's a hit for us down there, a lot of ppl are getting to try a few bowls of tobacs that they've really been wanting before they buy a tin.
there are tons of members in the pipe forum that i'm grateful to be a part of it all with them.
oh, blake lockhart: not for the newbie trades.. well, that too, but for bucking up and standing his ground in some recent comments. it showed a passion and lots of pride in the pipe forum. i'm sure the pride has come from all the work that he's personally put into running the newbie sampler trade for pipe tobacco. it's great to see the passion for "our pipe forum" from the guys that have helped make it great.
so, let that also be a warning: i'll put blake lockhart on yo' ass if you come acting a fool down there. :tu

Well, I know this may seem a little biased, BUT, the last CS member who really impressed me was my husband, Txdyna65. Afterall, he was the one who introduced me to CS, and were it not for him, I wouldn't have met some of the nicest guys and gals I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Since Txdyna65 has been a member of CS, I've seen some pretty amazing things takes place. Along with the amazing packages that have shown up at our house, (or what's left of it after these things detonate), I've had to proud honor of being able to take part in sending contributions to our troops. That in its self is awesome.
I could take up an entire page going on about the good people I've met on this site. The sense of community you guys demonstrate is unlike anything I've ever seen, alot of you have yet to meet in person, but talk to each other like you've been friends since childhood, that's pretty cool.
I guess you could say I'm impressed by CS altogether for so many reasons, but the members are at the heart of all the good that goes on here. All of you have impressed me. :tu

Dave (68TriShield) - Their is so much good stuff to say about this man. Even after his father passed away and he kept on trucking with the troop donations. Yesterday he spent quite a while with me on Skype and I had my first phone/video call with Dave. He has talked to me about tons of sticks and we compared stuff like our opinons on Monticristo Platinums. Dave is the epitome of unselfishness, he's a stand up guy 110%.

My top gorilla in the jungle is this lady that posted this... right here.. Marianne RAWKS. There's not a day that goes by that I'm not impressed by the gorillas in the jungle.
This http://www.clubstogie.com/vb/showthread.php?t=163386 from Doug (monsoon (http://www.clubstogie.com/vb/member.php?u=4767)) to Chad (ultramag (http://www.clubstogie.com/vb/member.php?u=8179)) which was a response to this http://www.clubstogie.com/vb/showthread.php?t=145690&highlight=bomb from Chad (ultramag (http://www.clubstogie.com/vb/member.php?u=8179)) to Doug (monsoon (http://www.clubstogie.com/vb/member.php?u=4767))
REALLY impressed me.
It impressed me so much that after I heard about it at the herf, I had to go home and tell my wife about it. I'm sure that she thinks that Lifetime needs to make a movie about it - she really needs to meet Chad and Doug before thinking like that.
It was well played on both parts and one of the billions of reasons why CS is one of the greatest places on the internet.
