Its been a pretty rough month for me. As some of you know, I lost my job this past Tuesday. However, a positive I have had a chance to sit back and enjoy some very nice cigars. One of the best I have tried this month is from MarkinCA, a Camacho Petit Corona. I fired up this stick this...
Actually, I was down there in July with my wife for our 10th anny. I didn't get to try one of those, but I did smoke a few Don Leoncio's. I really enjoyed them and the atmosphere. NO is one of our favorite destinations to visit. I'll check it out next time I'm down that way.
Guys, thanks for all the kind words. They are appreciated more than you know. Yesterday was a very tough and long day. I spent today with my wife and we just slowed things down and lived a little. I knew I could count on my fellow gorillas to help cheer me up. Now for tonights smoke, I...
Well, on a sad note the company I work for was bought out today by another and I was told that I would not be retained due to "budget constraints". This one is kind of tough because it was my first job since college. I know that things will work out, but for now I plan on taking the rest of...
I wholeheartedly agree. This was the first box of cigars that I ever bought way back in January of this year. :D They are always smooth and mellow and for me a bit nostalgic. Great cigars!

Thanks for the smokes and I can't wait to see what you chose for Sept.!
Long Ashes,

Just now getting around to post this review for August. I decided to review the La Flor Dominicana Ligero from the awesome selection from MarkinCA.
Pre-light: The construction of the cigar was rather rugged. There where quite a few veins throughout and the color was a little different from...
My most prized cigar was given to me in a box pass by Da Klugs. It is a 1984 Montecristo. I am saving it for my brother's birthday next year. He will turn 25 on May 8th so I thought he should enjoy a 25 year old smoke!

They are pretty good if you ask me. Not worth what they retail for though. I could just barely pick up a hint of bourbon flavor, so it is not overwhelming. Like icehog says the quality is nice. Light it up and enjoy!
