I had the same problem with my colibri cigar I lighter. It would light up at first then die after a couple seconds and I would have to wait a couple min for it to work again.
What worked for me was to adjust the flame to make it higher than normal. Use...
Got a box of montecristo platinum la baie de la Havane and thought it would make a good humidor. Just did the light test, and it passed with flying darkness. :D In the process of seasoning it right now, just wanted to know if anyone has done this with this box or another box.
you should probably season the humidor. That basically consists of leaving a bowl of distilled water in the humidor for about a week, then it should be able to hold constant humidity.
search for it for specific directions
Yea they are pretty good, although I haven't smoked an aged one yet. Also look out for the gran puro 3 pack that has a santa rita, pico bonito, and a rancho cigar. For me they run $12.99 :ss
I guess if you want to see how it would smoke take some pipe tobacco and roll it with blunt wrap/rolling paper or do the "gansta" thing and empty out a dutch and refill it. :w
if you need you can just store em in my humidor I seem to be a quick drive away seeing as I live right next to the university...cant guarantee their safety though :ss
