    Help me identify these DPG

The vendor was actually Eric, from kiokicigars.com, and no I am not getting the Black labels, as I told him the upgrade from Black to Blue, especially with what I paid was a killer deal for me and I was more than happy to leave it the way it is. He is going to thrown in an apology sampler on my...

    Help me identify these DPG

Well the vendor was awesome to deal with. He is letting me keep them with his apologies for the mistake. I have never had a Blue but hear nothing but great things about them. These were a great deal for the Cuban Classics, but for the Blue label the price was incredible. Now for the hard...

    Help me identify these DPG

Thanks for the help...thats what I suspected, i just had not seen any pics or anything with the new labeling. I don't know that I get to keep these...I had ordered the Cuban Classics, but these were sent by mistake. Still waiting to hear what the vendor wants me to do with these, hopefully...

    Help me identify these DPG

Hey all, just got a box of what was supposed to be DPG Cuban Classics...but they are not. They look to me like the DPG Blue Invictos, but the labeling is different from all the DPG Blue I have seen. Did he change labels or is this a new blend?

    Leathery cigar suggestion?

Try a Kristoff. I had one a while back and it was nothing but leather. I had it in my humi for almost 2 years, which was way too long, as it had become very mild, but what flavor was there was lots of leather.

    Great Cigar

I had one of these a few months back, it had been resting in my humi for close to two years and was waaay to weak. I should try a fresh one, but the aged one tasted like air with a hint of leather. I did love the look and feel of this cigar though. Smooth oily wrapper with cool packaging and...

    Opus X!?!?

The first Opus I had was harsh, bitter, and tar leaked out the end and onto my lips and hands, staining them yellow. I gave up on them for a while. Then I saw an Opus mini-Beli in my B&M in VA for ~$10 and thought, "What the hell, everyone else seems to like them, I will give it a shot." I...

Cutting or punching cigars..what do you prefer?

It depends on the cap of the cigar I am smoking. If there is a nice cap, then I can cut it without worrying about unravelling. If the cap is barely there, then I punch so that unraveling is not an issue. I prefer to cut if I can though.

    Bad Gorilla

:tpd:I have the only key to our mailbox in our apartment complex, so I get the mail always. I am a little concerned about our move into a house that we are renting, cause now she can check the mail and so can our roomate, but he is a fellow BOTL, so no worries there:ss on second thought...the...

    Camacho 1962 Robusto

Only had one of these and found it to be incredibly mild and smooth for a camacho, which means a good med-full smoke compared to others. I was prepared for the normal camocho kick but it wasn't in this one. I have enjoyed every camacho I ever had, even if they are really strong. I have had...

    Smoking Outdoors

For sports like fishing or golfing I would think a good cheap cigar would be the way to go so you don't get to upset if it falls in the lake, or somehow gets messed up. Maybe the Flor de Oliva, Padrons are somewhat cheap and oh so delicious. And yes, the wind screws up smoking. Where I am I...

    Pepin HATER to Pepin Whore?

I have experienced a similar revolution in my pallet. I could not stand peppery cigars, but somehow ended up with a bunch in a row (5 Vegas Miami, DPG Cuban Classic, and a couple of Camacho) and forced myself through the first couple then found myself loving and wanting that peppery bite to...

    A couple of newb questions

Your ranges sound good to me. Some prefer the RH to be more like 65%, but it is personal preference. You can get an adjustable digital hygrometer here

    Boxes or Samplers?

Exactly how do you accomplish this? You have much more willpower than I if you can walk out with only 1 stick from a good B&M, I do well to leave with less than 5, usually more like 10-15. As for the samplers and boxes go: I learned that it makes no sense to buy a box if you are just starting...
