Which Online Retailer Do You Order From?

CI, Cbid, and recently Mydiscountcigar.com ($70 box of Padron Delicias)... Service-wise, I'm sure they are all comparable. Shop around.

    La Aroma de Cuba

I enjoy these a lot. Slightly spicy with lots of smooth nutty, cocoa flavor. Consistently burns inconsistent. Requires some lighter skills to keep them even. I picked up a 5'er on Cbid for $15 or so. Great flavor, great aroma. Good price.

    La Flor Dominicana?

La Flor Dominicanas are good. But there's only one way to know for sure.

    Does anyone not like Padron?

Grab a Delicias or Londres for 45-60 minutes of Quality Time. Excellent aroma, rich, smoothe flavor. Never bitter or pungent. It never fails to satisfy. :ss

Review - Sancho Panza Double Maduro

I had a Double Maduro yesterday and it was as good as you all said, and as good as I remember. I walked in the walk-in humidor for a Padron, but opted for the Panza, and wasn't disappointed.

    New here, Need humidor

I picked up an old but solid humidor at the local thrift shop for $5 bucks.

    Dependable Smoke?

For the price, nothing beats the Padron Delicias. A small 25-25 minute smoke, perfect draw, rich flavor, consistently awesome and at $3 a pop... It's my choice for dependability.

How to bring an old humi back to life....

I found an old used humidor at the local second-hand shop for 5 bucks. It's spanish cedar, dry as a bone. I wiped down the inside with distilled water, and dropped a jar of the humidifying crystals in it. Hygrometer reads 60-65% rh, good enough for me. That's all you need to do.

    Cigar recommendations other than Cubans?

Try: Tatuaje Padron Oliva "V" Illusione Hard to go wrong with any of those.

    Cheaper Cigars

I second the Padrons. I really like the Padron Delicias, and for $3 a piece, can't be beat. Also try Sancho Panza and Flor de Oliva. Generally speaking though, if you get accustomed to the $10+ smokes, it'll be hard to completely enjoy an under $5 cigar. :2

    La Riqueza

I think most cigars will leave some sort of aftertaste. Even after a couple tooth brushings, it often still lingers. I doubt if stinky breath is exclusive to smoking La Riquezas. The dude at my local shop says Pete Johnson (Tatuaje founder) modelled them directly after a Henry Clay cigar. Not...

what are the pros and cons of punches

I use both. But lately, I've been using a steel bullet shell casing with a sharpened rim edge. It actually works quite well. As with even good cutters, sometimes the wrapper can crack when using it. But 90% of the time, it offers a clean perfect shaped cut. For me, a 7mm magnum rifle bullet...
