Bax I have to agree, the most smoke I've gotten has been from a Habanos Torres cigar. It was about 14" long and about 60 ring gauge at the middle. Gigantic ugly stick. It smoked itself.

I occasionally smoke a '64 or '26... about once or twice a year.

As cigars age they evaporate ammonia and nicotine. 4-5 months in a humidified environment will normally lead to a sick period. The way to tell is if the foot of the cigar smell different, particularly with an ammonia scent.

It could be going through its sick period.

That was a 20" or so third of a culebra that Tim at Habanos Torres made. That was truly one of the best cigars I've ever smoked.
