I was perusing the taboo site and noticed something peculiar.
I thought months and months ago it was called Honduran Sun Grown?
Now it's Habano Sun Grown?
Am I wrong? or did they never explain what HSG was before.
I've had a few of this stick and was pleasantly surprised.
Well the wife was headed off to her MBA class from 5:30-8pm so I was on my own for dinner....and what the heck stop by the B&M and hang out with the guys.

I have been holding my Taboo Twist cigars in the humi for about 6-8 months and decided after dinner I should bring it down to my local B&M to hang out with my regular crew. The staff doesn't mind because we usually buy a smoke while there as well.
2 cigars were on tap for this evening
1) Taboo...
I've had several threads recently questioning Vinotemp set-up, cedar smell on shelves. Well it's finally finished and working to perfection.
I ran 2 22 gauge solid core wires through the drain tube into the vino and then sealed up the drain with electrical tape. The two wires on the outside...
I ordered some shelves and trays from Mtmouse for my Vinotemp that I am setting up.
They arrived last week and are beautiful...however they smell VERY strongly of cedar.
I know we all like the smell of cedar, but this is a pretty strong scent.
I have no cigars in them right now for fear that the...
I see several people have created water collection dishes in the bottom of their vinotemp.
1) What material did you use to divert the drippings into a dish? Obvi0ously not paper.
Duct Tape?
2) Considering fishing 22 gauge solid core wire through the drain hole and splitting it inside to run 2...
Heading down to the Carolina Coast, North Topsail Island Beach Saturday and wanted to know if anyone is familiar with that area and what B&M's might be there.
Wilmington is 20 miles away, so I can always look there, but the closer the better.
It's right next to Camp LeJeune BTW.
Of course I'll...
Woof.
I had a steak dinner and then headed down the the local B&M for the usual Tuesday evening get together.
Brought along a few cigars.

Well the Fiance needed to pick up some prescriptions at the Giant near the cigar shop, so I suggested we drive separately, grab some Noodles for dinner and I would meet her back home in a few hours.
She agreed....Phew. Had my Indonesian Peanut Saute' and headed to the shop.
I had picked up a...
Can someone explain the differences among the different anejo #'s?
Are they simply codes for Torpedo, Robusto, A, Corona, Perfecto, Belicoso, etc.?
Thanks
Well I started my afternoon deciding to do some yardwork...by hand.
Boy I should have rented a tiller or sod cutter or something.
I'm in darn good shape but this whooped me.
So I decide why not fire up a sun grown since I'll be i the sun.
Smelled great, so I lay it down before I grab the Palio...
till the wedding.
EEEEKS.
It's in DC, so unfortunately no smoking a cigar that night...but boy once I get home, and before the honeymoon I'm gonna light up that Padron 80th that's sitting in my humi!
Fiance' needed me to run an errand, and she needed quiet time to study for MBA finals, so I took the opportunity and stopped by the local B&M last night. Old Virginia Tobacco Company-Kingstowne.
I had been walking past the Winston Churchill boxes for weeks now and thought "Oh what the heck, a...
A nice stick with a punch of nicotine that hit me in the last 1/3rd. Woof.
Leather and cedar taste. nummy.
I smoked this while doing yard work in the back of the house.
It was a pleasant surprise.
I know it''s not much of a review but I did enjoy the stick, especially since it was the first...
Yup, I know the Don Carlos is made by Fuente...but I bought it from Rob @ Taboo a few week ago when I bought a new humidor, and a BUNCH of Taboo cigars.
SO I figured I'd give him a shout out anyways.

Had this lovely stick Friday night after a long day of work and the gym...
Several Cigar men/manufacturers say "The Lancero is the hardest cigar to make." Ernesto Padilla said it in his interview with CA.
WHY? B/c of smaller ring gauge? Limited availability of filler type?
I know the Preferido shape is hard to make as well and only senior experienced rollers are...
Golfing Tournament this past Friday @ Bull Run Country Club in Haymarket, VA. A bit far out but still considered DC Metro area.
Excellent conditions, PERFECT weather. Nice chill in the morning and warmed up to 87 degrees.
Started the day out with a CAO Vision Prana. Had burn issues the entire...
Fiance gave me this cigar a while back and just unearthed it from the humidor.
"A" size cigar, with lancero size ring gauge.
I had forgot where I got it until she reminded me.
She worked for Chris Wayne who used to be Pres. Clinton Director of Advance, meaning he coordinated events before the...
I was looking to pick up some RP 1990 Torp's and saw the cigarbid and CI listing of RP 1990 Torpedo 2nd's @ 1/2 the price for a bundle of 15.
The description says cosmetic blemishes. Now I know what that means in terms of a humidor...but what about a cigar that is actually sold to stores to...
