La Aroma de Cuba Edicion Especial Robusto

Initial Impressions: This is the Don Pepin blended version. This is the first one I've had. This was a thin robusto, 48 RG I believe, with a nice wrapper that was smooth and had no blemishes. A mild pre-light aroma came from this cigar. Pictures: Smoking: This cigar...

    First Tatuaje....

Then I highly recommend the Benchmades and Fumadores. They are both mixed fillers blended by Don Pepin. Personally, I enjoy them, you may not.

    First Tatuaje....

:tpd: The whites are a good value smoke. I think they're made with the same tobacco as the red label. The benchmades are amazing too. Look for the Fumadores at Holts, another great value DPG.

Yes, this was a great place, indeed. Lots of DPG stuff all the way around, great selection, the staff was very friendly.

    aging? really?

I would agree more or less. I had a box of DPG Blue Robustos from about a year ago compared to two just bought in August and the taste is different. As far as aging or resting is concerned, besides the DPGs I have found that the JdN Antano benefits greatly from some rest time.

    Cigar aging questions?

That is interesting indeed. I thought that most of Cuba belongs to the North American Plate though.

We are actually a university certified club. Just go to your university/ college student organizations office and talk to them. I cannot speak for other universities, but at Pittsburgh it is pretty easy to start up a student organization. All you need is ten signatures and e-mails, a faculty...
