For the few I've had, they are a good Fuente based brand. The only reason I don't buy them more often is that the flavor (which I find to be on par with Fuente's regular line) does not justify the price markup. Although, I might have to go try another and see. It's been awhile :ss

I'm not sure if you had the natural or maduro. However, I believe the maduro is the best smoke for the price that you can get, from most any manufacturer. Then gain, that's my opinion :ss Unfortunately, I spend so much time and money trying to find a similar stick with a similar flavor...

I have never, ever had this issue. Now, this cigar was a maduro. So, I can't speak for his natural sticks. So, if you've only smoked the naturals from Rocky, then I'm sure there's never been an issue. My discovery was specific to the R4 Maduro. But, it does make me question his entire line.

Those are all good points. I agree with their tenor. My concern was really the initial impression it made, not necessarily whether it was good or bad. But, certainly, each to their own. And, I'm still glad to be a member (even if I don't show it :ss) Thanks for putting this together.
