    The Balvenie 12 Year, DoubleWood

For my money this is one of the best drams out there. It is smooth, sweet and complex. A great pour for both new and experianced scotch drinkers alike. A must have.

    St. Arnold's Brewery, Houston

Alright.. I heard that Spec's on Smith St. downtown has a good amount of stock, but I don't think it will be there for long. Also try the other Spec's locations if that one is sold out as they are limiting people to 1 sixer to stretch it out. More Info: http://beeradvocate.com/forum/read/1408500

Dayem! That was fast. If you really want some you can trade for it over on beeradvocate.com. I worked out a trade for 2 sixers. I will also ask around over there to see if any locals can point you in the right direction.

Check your local Whole Foods. Rumor is they got a pretty decent allotment. I would expect you to be able to find it pretty easily, at least for the first few days before it sales out. Good Luck!

    blue moon

I have to admit I used to feel the same way but man has that changed. Sure, there are some IPA's that are just tastebud assaulting hop bombs, and there is place for that. There are also a ton out there that are hoppy but very well balanced with sweet malt backbones to help offset the hop (warm...

Let’s see your latest haul! Beer, Liquor, Wine, etc...

MMMMM, love all three of those! Had a Dreadnaught recently that must of had some age because it was more american barley wine-esq. The hops were preasent but it seemed pretty sweet and the malt was kicked up. Are they like that fresh?

Who has a wife on the slope with them?

Eh.. My wife used to take a puff now and then but isn't the least bit interested any more. Wait, are we talking cigars or..? :hn

Anybody ever order from Atlantic Cigar?

Good vendor with some great prices on select boxes. If it says to call for price, chances are the price is pretty damn low.

    Good creamy sweet cigars?

To me creamy refer to the texture of the smoke and for this I turn to either a PAM Exclusivo or a WOAM.

Poll: Do you like Spice in a Cigar?

It sounds like we have quite a few beer/liquor lovers here so I'm assuming I'm not the only one blowing my allowance on liquid refreshments every month... Let’s see your latest haul! Here's mine, most of these will see the cellar for a long nap...

If you go make sure to try the St. Arnolds Divine Reserve series. The latest was #5 and it is an excellent Russian Imperial Stout.

How many cigars do you need?

I guess it all depends on your motives as some people are not looking to become cigar collectors and only buy what they plan to smoke in the near future. I on the other hand consider myself a smoker/collector so I am always looking for cigars to smoke soon and cigars to lay down for many years...

    TodaysCigar.com: Why do I bother?

I agree, TodaysCigar.com is pretty much worthless (based on points stated previously) so I stopped wasting my time a while back. I do watch Cigar Monster every now and again as some of the Famous house blends are decent but for the most part I just call one of our great vendors when I want...

    Releasing smoke through the nose?

I am right there with you Mark. I find that my senses become almost useless and overworked if I exhale nasally every puff.
