Thanks guys for taking care of that so quickly.
I guess he started with the A's.
I noticed the join date was yesterday and he had no posts.
Definately not someone I would trust!
I saw that PM last night, but was too tired to report it. I was looking right now, and then found this thread...
From CigarsInternational:
Dampen the salt with water. Do not put so much in that the salt gets "sloppy". You want a damp pile of salt in the bottle cap.
From somewhere else on the web:
Place about a teaspoon of salt in the bottle cap and drip just enough distilled water on the salt to get it...
I think spreading out the beads can only help.
I bought a pound of HCM beads from Shilala in 2oz bags. They are spread throughout my humidor. That is a lot more than I need (by about 4x), but I bought extra because it was a better deal, and I could put them in a small cooler when I get to that...

DI Water shouldn't go bad. Just leave the cap on. By leaving the cap off the bottle, you could introduce contaminants. The amount of contaminants would still be minor, though.
I can only suggest an digital hygrometer. I like the HygroSet Adjustable. Got mine from Taboo when they were $14.99 as a Daily Deal along with an order.
I have an analog, and and it is all over the place. Raraely accurate. It has an adjustment screw, but still isn't consistent. It is just...
