Allright guys, this collection has been a grand success so far.

In fact, because of you guys (and several deals I was able to make) I have close to 800 stogies of all sorts.

Do you guys think we can make it an even thousand?

If you weren't aware of this collection or what inspired it please click on my tag line at the bottom and read my original post.

It's very near and dear to me and if we can hit that magic number I will be absolutely thrilled.

Yes I will be posting pictures. So having said that if you have some stogies lying around that you know you won't want to smoke again why not donate them to a worthy cause?

Remember, "Quantity over Quality" and I say that openly because I know that we Gorillas don't smoke gas station cigars. :)

So please, if you have even a couple of stogies you don't want, send them to the Polish boys who are fighting alongside our American service men and women.

Finally, thank you to everyone who contributed, you have my eternal gratitude.

God Bless.

Rob

Just a tad of work Rob...

Ok, it's a lot more work than I thought it was going to be but I would do it again in a heartbeat. :tu

Still, got a great feeling out of doing it so either way it's entirely worth it and I may be doing it again in the future.

TTYL,
Rob

Allright, big announcement here!

We did it, we hit

1000 STOGIES

So a THANK YOU to all the great Gorillas and BOTL who contibuted.

Cheers,
Rob

Congratulations Rob for your efforts in putting this "Comfort and Moral Booster" package together for the Polish Troops. Probably, a good number of Gorillas do not understand what it is like being away from family, friends, home, and your country, and being stationed in a hostel land where at anytime you may have your rear-end shot. A "Care" package from home with some familiar items can really make a world of difference in lifting ones spirits and attitude.

So, I hope the package makes it over to them safe and intact, and that they enjoy every friggin' one of those sticks. Just wish I could be there to fire-up one with them. Please let them know that we have them in our thoughts and prayers, and we wish everyone of those soldiers back home safe and sound..:tu

:tpd:

I couldn't have said it better myself. Trust me, I will certainly let them know just how appreciated they are by not only Poles but by lots of Americans too.

I share your sentiment about a taste of home lifting the spirits of a soldier and god willing this will do just that.

Thank you and everyone for the help, kind words, good wishes etc. and I honestly could NOT have been able to do this without all you guys.

Cheers,
Rob
