60-63 RH

I keep mine at 70% and have not had a problem in over 30 years. I seem to be in the minority here as everyone seems to like the 65% range. Try them at different ranges and you will find the right range for you! After all you only have to make yourself happy.......:ss

IMO the amount of outside humidity changes the way it smokes so for me:

63ish warmer months (67 and higher has more lighting issues and the cigars are more likely to go out)

66ish cooler months

If you lived in an area that was really dry 70ish might be ideal.

I have experimented and dry boxed to 57 and was really not happy with the results.

Personally, my '96 Cuban Partagas Lusi's from the POS factory are unsmokeable unless they are between 63.6%-63.8%, otherwise they taste so...tobacco'y.

:r

Seriously, try it out, if they draw and smoke good, that's all that matters (as long as your between 55-80). I actually do think some smokes tend to be too loose of a draw below 65% and some too tight above 70%, but I wouldn't swear by it.

I thought there was no adjustment on my digital, but I finally went looking for it. It was inside the case. Just needed a small screwdriver and a few tries to get it calibrated since it starts dropping right away.
