Okay, we all like a good cigar. But does anybody else here ever have a nasty drug store stogie to take you back to your early days? Every once in awhile I'll buy a box of Parodis as those and Hava Tampas were my first smokes.

About three years ago I got one of my best friends into cigars. He has a humi full of Padrons and Diamond Crown Maximus and assorted ISOMs, and he enjoys those all regularly. But about 3 times a day (he works from home), he sits on the porch and smokes a Grenadier from the grocery store. No cutter needed. He can taste the difference, but he doesn't mind much. Yesterday I helped him build a shed, and in the 2.5 hours in which I smoked a Padron Magnum, he smoked a Grenadier, followed by a Partagas Short. It's true!

About a month or so ago I tried to finish off the last couple of Backwoods I have sitting in a jar... I got half way through one, but I'm afraid my tastes have changed & I can't go back :ss

Well at least he smoked them in the right order
 
I started with CAO Gold, then CAO Gold Maduro, then a CAO MX2 and a Padron 64. The 64 was the first one that sold me on the hobby so when I go back I'm still right here!
