does smoking the other half of a cigar the next day not taste as good or is it just me ?
:tpd: I generally just toss em if for some reason they go out and sit for a while. No, its not just you. Even relighting after a few hours is pretty nasty to me. Its a bad idea in general :hn u
If you cut them in half and smoke half one day and the other the next you can't tell...
There was something in CA about "purging" a cigar if you knew it was going to be out for a while. You would blow through it 2-3 times, and then let it go out. The person describing this suggested leaving it outside but covered (so it wouldn't get wet with dew, I assume). Supposed to be good as new . . . but I'm not sure I believe it.
It allows for all the tar and what not to settle and what not making it taste like arse.

If you do this I recommend not telling anyone (I found out the hard way as seen in the thread below):If you cut them in half and smoke half one day and the other the next you can't tell...

Click on the above thread and you will find out that it's not the proper thing to do for many reasons.:2
Thanks to the brothers who set me straight. :tu
I clear (blow the smoke out of) my cigar when I set it down. That way if it goes out and I have to relight, it doesn't taste like a wet ashtray. Some cigars taste even better when they taste like wet ashtray, so it can also be a plus. :tu
