a half of a cigar

I cut off the end sometimes and relight later in the day. It doesn't taste nearly as good as the first time but half of an ok cigar is better than no cigar in my book.

:tpd: Yep, and make sure you purge it after clipping the end. It's not perfect, but with my limited smoking budget, I need to do this sometimes.

Maybe I'm to new at smoking cigars or just haven't had a good one but I haven't noticed any difference except its harder to relight them.

...10 minutes later...

So I just tried to re-light a Vegas 5, and well. I failed horribly. So, I'll learn from y'all!

I was in Vegas a few months ago and gave my friend a Monte 2. We lost track that night as he wanted to gamble and the rest of us went to a bar with beer pong. The next morning, ok afternoon, i woke up and went to the kitchen and there was half the Monte I gave him in a ziplock bag. I just shook my head and laughed. We all went down to the pool a little later and I told him to bring the cigar, knowing what he would be in for. The smell from that bag and taste was absolute hell. It stuck with me for hours and only went away after that 9th Corona at the black jack table. So no, its not just you.

yeah, the general consensus is that ABS (already been smoked) cigars are not that great. smoke a smaller cigar and you'll be set

I wouldn't do it, but my boss does it all the time so to each his own. In fact I looked at him like he had an eye in the middle of his forehead when he described what he had done to the 1998 Punch DC I'd given him. And he looked at me like I had one in my head as I described to him why he shouldn't do that.

I've tried this twice and will NEVER do it again :pu

The ways I've gotten around the problem of not having the time are to buy a smaller size, skip smoking at that time, or smoke my pipe. :pp

I relight all the time. It's never been a problem. In fact, I put out a cigar and left it in my 110* garage for a week. I lit it up and it was even better than before.
