A spring walk through Tranås with an Ashton VSG

Instead of taking a lunch break on saturday, I decided to go for a walk through town with a great cigar. It was the first really nice spring day, and the whole town was out. One of my fondest memories of my time here so far was that walk, and I've got photos to remember it by! Hope you enjoy!

Thanks Tzaddi for the idea and yourchoice for the cigar!

You have some nice sentiment in those photos. Very well done, you have made it your own. I was trying to pick out which image I liked the best but there are 3 or 4 and they all work together to tell the story. I can almost hear the soundtrack. Can you imagine a day when a post for a review can have an audio file? I am sure some would find it annoying but it sure would be creative. :tu

mmmm..... ashton VSG..

Easily one of my top 3 favorites!

**jealousy**

It was nice here today too, darn warm, little to no wind. the bees are starting to show up, but no mosquito's yet!

I have to ask...what do local stogie smokers (who are doubtless used to Cubans) think of something like an Ashton VSG??

Most casual smokers have never heard of it, and more serious smokers are split between either hating NC's or loving them. There is not a huge amount of BOTL's in Tranås, though.

There's not a huge amount of people in Tranås, period. :D

As to the cubanofiles (or whatever they should be called) they seem mostly have been inspired by americans, who constantly talk about how great CC's are.. The more rare something is, the better it gets. (at least in some ppl's minds)

Among the 08bolmers BOTL's there is a lot of openness and of course some do like CC's more than NC's, but for those of us with a more open mind there are a lot of alternatives, and most of the time a lot cheaper than CC's.
I haven't found any CC that is better than RP vintage or Camacho SLR Maduro, for example.
