Aah Fall Has Arrived

To my brothers of the smoke. I have just enjoyed my first smoke down here in southern Louisiana without humidity and mosquitos interupting my experience of smoking a Perdomo ESV 91 Maduro on the porch. Here's to a great season of cigar smoking. Humidity, heat and mosuitos frequently interrupted my total enjoyment, but now I can complete a whole stogie. Peace.:tu

I've always thought that fall is the best season for smoking. Then again, I probably think that any season where I have a lot of smokes is the best season.

I wish you guys could send some of that weather our way!!

Still upper 80's - low 90's here everyday with thick humidity and tons of bugs/mosquitos. Impossible to sit out during the day and be comfortable while smoking. I usually wait until the weekends and smoke at around 10 - 11 PM and it's still usually around 80*'s and soupy out. Doesn't usually get below 70* here at night until after 11PM.

I am so damned tired of summer here in FL!!

Im sitting here in Western NY with frost on the windows. We have had the coolest summer in years with only 7 days over 80* I heard on the TV. You guys are talking about fall, Im still waiting for summer! :ss

....global warming :D:r:r:r

I too sat outside last night with my cigar. I love the cool fall weather and, while it's not exactly as cool and crisp as I like yet, I can feel fall coming - it's just around the corner!!! :D

Fall....what a great time of year to enjoy a smoke. The weather is beginning to turn and pretty soon I'll have to brace for the SoCal weather (mid to high 60's, low 70's). :ss On a serious note, sure beats the heat!! Luckily it doesn't get very humid out here. I can't imagine dealing with mosquitos feasting on me while I'm puffing away. Plus, Fall means tailgate season!!!:chk

Up here in Baton Rouge, it's also been awesome weather. In the 60's at night, it's perfect cigar smoking temperature. I love it. :ss

At least you're getting below 70.:r

Born and raised in LA. I miss the humidity, heat (my blodd doesn't even flow right unless it's 80*), great food. At least your not living where god forsaken snow falls.

You want to see what a winter looks like, come to Minnesota. :D

We don't even start wearing coats until it gets in the sub-20s.

I just about die every time I visit my parents in Florida (they moved there after I was out of the house). Humidity + Heat = grouchy me.

Fall in the Seattle area means no sun, almost constant rain and winds until around March. So, no it's not the best season for smoking. :)
But the Summers here rock! (We have about 1 week of really uncomfortable heat, around 90+ and then it's mid to high 70's all Summer long).

Yes. The weather is really nice. To bad I have been stuck in the office for the last few days from morning 'till night. I plan on celebrating with a nice stogie when this project is done!

The Fall of the year is great in North Carolina... situated between the beach and the mountains - feel like I have the best of both worlds. Great time to light up a smoke... :ss

Which Seattle do you live in? It's been fall for more than a week now, and sunny. :) Well, until today. Now it's so gray, overcast and nipply, you can't see your own shadow, like it will be until next August.

I bicycled to work today in the sunshine this morning, I swear!

I love the fall colors but I know the snow is only weeks away....

Still a bit warm here, almost no humidity, though. If the temp would drop about another ten degrees, it would be ideal stogie weather.
