Advice on "Nubbing" a cigar

I play alot of darts at my B&M and they help me nub cigars that are worthy. All I do is stick in the side and burn it down.

It is on backorder, which means it's already on its way back. We don't have much work ahead of us then, do we? It's too expensive anyway. I like the smooth meerschaum one. I might have to go for it for $10 with a case included...

The rubber one doesn't appear to even have a purpose. There's no reason besides style to get one, and the rubber one is failsauce at that.

I bought mine too... man this is such a slippery slope. Why did I have to check the prices and why did it have to be under 10 bucks! Oh well, we'll look like badasses with these.:cb

I dont know why you guys all need to use holders and things to nub. I smoke mine down to less than an inch with just my fingers. How much shorter do you need to go?!

I guess nothing cuz I have smoked some down at least that far with no thought of getting one of those things.

We're just bringing back an old trend. At the very least it is another gadget to add to the collection.

I like to save all my nubs, put them in a bowl, add milk and eat them for breakfast. :D

Seriously though not many make it past the burning finger size (1/2 inch) but if its really good ill use a toothpick.

I haven't noticed any taste difference at all, and it works like a charm. Just need to get a decent seal so you aren't huffing a ton of air just for a little wisp of smoke.

Looking at that meerschaum holder....I need one!
 
I did a decent job nubbing a cigar yesterday with a paperclip turned into a bit of a tweezer looking device. It did the job and got me the furthest I've ever been able to smoke a cigar.
 
I've got a local herf buddy who has his own professional 'nub tool'...

But, I second the use of a toothpick. Just DON'T use a plastic one :ss
 
I hire topless models with small fingers to hold it for me. This is a slippery slope.

By "I hire topless models with small fingers to hold it for me" I mean I drink a couple of shots and hold on until it burns.
