Anejos - Why are there so many

I have noticed, and I am sure many others have as well that there seams to be a lot of Anejos out there this time around. I know it is the season, but I have never seen this quantity before.

Any thoughts.
 
I have seen lots of nice Anejo purchases on the board, but there are none here in the CO B&Ms that I've seen.
 
Maybe people are buying ISOM's that smoke better and cost less? So the demand is down for these high priced sticks.:2
 
Fuente may have finally ralized that they sell out every year, so if they make more they will deffinitely sell more.:2
 
I agree they're selling more to make some cash. They will destroy themselves, the more that sell now, the less the hype, the less they will sell next year..

Based on requests and WTB threads I do not know that demand is down for anejos.

My hope is that more anejos are not being made to satisfy demand with quality suffering.
 
My guess is that they were held up and didn't come out on Fathers day. Just more to go around this time.:tu
 
i was chatting with arturo fuente at TS a few weeks back and he said something about there not being as much opus this year but that we should see a lot more anejos. so far he has been right. b&m's i know that usually get more than a few boxes of opus for christmas got very little but got a lot of anejos. there should be a final shipment right around christmas time. i like anejos more than i do opus so hopefully it's another shipment.
 
This is a pretty academic discussion for those of us who have had no luck finding Anejos. There have been more Elvis sightings around these parts.

Interesting indeed that Carlito's kids visiting Seaworld in Orlando were responsible for the Sharks being named that and I can throw a stone at Seaworld from my work and have a kid that loves the shark tank at Seaworld and my kid's dad loves anejos and I am old and refined and carlito was in Orlando a couple weeks ago, and I am taking my kid to Seaworld tommorow and TXDyna sent me a whole buttload of anejos.
 
that's hilarious in the amount of coincidences. let's have a seaworld herf. i probably won't be back there till they open their water park. hopefully my pass covers it the same as it covers every other busch park. i love seaworld :tu
 
Don't think the new park, Aquatica is covered on the passport, but I could be wrong.

Let me know if you need tickets and I'll see what I can do.
 
I stated this in the first Anejo thread.Stores that in past years got maybe three boxes this year are recieving six or seven in two shipments.:chk
