Another bar dead

I remember before I was deployed hanging out at the Taphouse in Norfolk. They had a outdoor area which was great for me and the beer list is huge. My sister lives up the street so I would go there for the evening and then crash on her couch til morning. It was like 2 blocks so best part no drinking and driving.
I know you live on the otherside of the water but I think they have one in Hampton somewhere.
I googled it and I got an addy.

I never been to this one but I have been to the one in Ghent lots of times, good people there. If it turns out half as good as the Norfolk one you will like it.

I work about 4 blocks from that Taphouse and they do have an outdoor patio. If I was going to stay downton it would be a great place. I live up in Gloucester... So I try to get a little closer in case I need a ride home.... Yeah cuz I lost my keys, that's the story I'll use :)
 
Living in Nevada is still pretty good. Not like it was 30 years ago.
We are too close to California. No smoking in restaurants now.
Since the ban the casino and restaurant industry has lost about 17%.
I refuse to do business with the banners. Always tell them why too.
My company was going to set up an account with a local tire shop
but the owner was more concerned about my cigar than my business
so no business!

Nevada casinos are still a great place to enjoy a cigar. I'm in Tahoe now and I just got back from smoking a nice ERDM at the blackjack table.

Now that the bar closed the story on cigar smokers all the people that have been just itching to frequent the bar but didn't because of cigar smoke will be rushing in..

Thats what I'm told in Minnesota with the total smoking ban.. All the yuppies that hated smoke of any kind,,now are lining up to get in the corner bars where they always wanted to have a beer and a pickled pigs foot .

If I had the $$$ I would open a biker bar. IMO no good ones in my area for various reasons. I have a Brother smart enough for it to work. All the thinned skinned, poser wannabe, whinny a$$ cry babies could all just kiss my cigar smoking totem pole at the door.

End of rant....
