another Beads Question

Mr. Sexy Cooler!!!
I used the instructions from the sticky Newbie Read - Updating Your Humidifier

http://www.clubstogie.com/vb/showthread.php?t=25122

It’s been 24 hours since I added the 65%RH beads to the Humi
The Digital hygrometer is reading 72/72

Shouldn’t the RH be lower since I'm using 65%RH beads or will it take time for them to settle at 65%?

Seems to be a steady 72/72 so i figured i would ask the pro's

thanks
Doug

Oh also whats a good way to store my smokes while the Humi Settles in?
Right now I have them in a small cooler with no beads, I can toss some dry ones in if you all think I should :)

I only used about 3 tea spoons of distiled water on the beads
following the 2oz instructions on Heartfelts web site.

EDIT: Yeah put the smokes in and you are set. They will absorb some of the excess. Then give it a couple days.

Since the rh is high. I would dry them out and put them in dry to absorb the excess. Then maintain when it when you get to your desired rh.

EDIT: Yeah put the smokes in and you are set. They will absorb some of the excess.

I bought a pound so I will swap out the current beads with dry beads :)
thanks for the tip

i have read vipers thread and understand the instructions about the beads. my question----- can you put too many beads in the humi?

Only in the sense that too many beads will take room from the storage of your cigars. So, no, you can't put so many beads in your Humi that it will hurt your cigars.
