another newby review with pics "Cabaiguan"

Possibly...I would also add that the weather, i.e. near freezing temperatures, may have added to the problem. It is not like a Pepin to split, again it is more than likely an isolated case.

I have had at least three Tats split on me and one simply explode. All were well rested and burned indoors at room temp.

Interestingly, and I'm not suggesting anything here, I have never encountered this problem with any sticks with DPG's own brand (blue, white, black labels).

It's to the point where I don't buy Tats anymore. Tried one Cabaiguan and truthfully...didn't love it. :2

Good review though, like the pics, love the dog. :ss

Don't worry George you did a great job packing them, very professional!:tu
The wrappers on these are like paper. I had the same issue with other Tats.

Bummer Darrell - I wonder if I screwed up packing them and they were packed too tight in the box damaging the wrapper. The wrapper seems to be a little thin.

thanks for all the feedback guys! I'm glad to hear everyone else likes them as well as me. now... to find a box of these guys.. :r

Nice review, but boy did that wrapper look grotesque. I've had issues with Cabaiguan's wrappers cracking as well.

Try a google search, I know of at least two places with boxes to go right now-including the Guapo (the only one I have had) and most prices are quite reasonable-in my opinion-for said cigar.

Very nice and well documented review. You got me thinking about where I can get one of those, I think I have one in the bottom of the cooler, yeah that's the ticket. :tu

Nice review and pics.

After Fredsters taste off these cigars are peeking an interest out here.

I may need to try a few to see for myself.

Thanks for the review.
