ANOTHER short story review..

Allright this is my first review so bear with me please

I've had a few of these guys since I've been enjoying cigars and I decided to light up one that has been resting in my humi for about 18 months.

Construction: Beautiful Cameroon wrapper with a slight oily shine to it.
Pre-light: After cutting the cap it had a semi-tight draw with a slight spicy flavor.
Burn: I lit it with a torch lighter and it burned evenly. The ash was solid and held for about 2 inches until I dropped it off so it wouldn't fall in my coffee.
Flavor: Started out strong with spice and slight earthy tones and mellowed out into a smooth mixture of spice and cream, the age tamed this one out a bit and paired well with my Stumptown coffee.
Value: At $5.75 a stick, it's not an every day cigar for me since I'm on a student budget, however I would definitely buy a box if I had the means to.
Overall: After about an hour I smoked this guy down to the nub. I didn't want it to end. I've had a few of these straight from the B&M and have all ways been happy but I definitely recommend letting one or two sit for a while. It makes me look forward to trying the signature that I've been holding onto for a couple years.

So that's my first review...any feedback is welcome. :ss

I love 'em too. And I'm always amazed at how long those short smokes last. It's an hour well spent.

reading this makes me happy that my local B&M got them in and i picked to up and they were only like 4.50 there :)

Great review. I posted my first review on this smoke as well. I have really enjoyed them since. I was smokin' a little too fast. Great little smoke.

I received my first AF Hemmingway Short Story as a newb contest winner last week. Hard to let it rest for a few weeks. The construction of the cigar just amazes me. Looking forward to this great smoke, and now I know what to expect!

Thanks again!
