Any Destin/Ft. Walton/Okaloosa Island BOTL?

I may be taking a spur of the moment trip over there the weekend of July 14th-15th. Do any of you call those parts home?

Destin is a beautiful place!!

I work as the IT Manager for South Walton Fire District, which is just east of Destin (Sandestin, Grayton Beach, Seaside etc).

Where will you be staying?

Very cool. One of my favorite restaurants is on the island, called Old Bay Steamer, near the Fort Walton Bridge and Helen Back Cafe.

The only decent B&M IMHO is in east Destin, a place already mentioned on these forums called Harbor Cigars. Owner's name is Marvin, good guy. It would be kind of a haul for you, so I would stock up before heading down.
