Any opinions on Savoy?

CI has a crazy deal on these savoy cigars: boxes of 25 for $17.99!

Seems too good to be true, so tell me, how crappy are these?

I have never had them before nor have I seen them on CI before today. But a quick google search and it seems they are made by Ashton

If the devil site hadn't stolen my wallet I might of picked up a couple boxees for a morning smoke!

Holts used to carry some Savoys made by Ashton.

However, these may not be the same because the CI copy suggests they are mixed fillers.

If anyone can figure this one out speak up quickly.

Holts used to carry some Savoys made by Ashton

Quick check of Holts and they still do.

ive had a few. i didnt like them. i also dont thnk any age will help. bad cigars dont usually get better with age. they just are a mellower form of bad.

They are not good at all, imo. Many cheaper, better cigars out there.

I've never had one, good luck if you go for it.
I've tried many cheap, excuse me, inexpensive cigars none have been any good, imho. A cheap good cigar is the holy grail many of keep trying to find.
