Anybody esle love Partagas Black

I have not tried one yet. I have had one in the humidor for awhile now. Maybe I will try it tomarrow

For the record: Not a fan.

I thought it was a little rough...but I was new at the time, so I tried another recently. Still not a fan.

That's why they make more than one kind of cigar though...something for everyone.

I love them!!! I have a couple of boxes that I usually start going through when the weather start turning colder. Very tasty and a full body smoke is definitely not foe the young. I still have a couple of classico sticks that have about 5 or 6 years on them.

After some of the humidor pics I have seen here, I'm not sure if it i something for everyone, or everything for someone!

I must just be weird. I started smoking cigars back at the end of December, and never smoked anything prior to that. But I really like full bodied, strong cigars. I like others too, but these don't really bother me. I love the pepper smell and taste of the Partagas Black.

when I started smoking I had a similar experience. However, after filling up the humidor, smoking in different environments (indoors, outdoors, windy, garage, golf course, and so on...) I have really learned to appreciate the flavor profile in milder cigars.

I think it's really fun to sit on the back porch in the morning with a cup of coffee and try to pick out the small nuances in a mild-med cigar.

I still prefer full cigars, but I like the challenge of a mild-med cigar from time to time.

:tpd: Not a Fan. I bought a box a couple years back and went through half of it and was never impressed. I have a few of them still lying in the humidor, I will give them another chance some day.

I've liked these when gifted one to smoke but when I purchased some I thought they sucked.

So, once in a while they hit the spot I guess, not something for the regular smoke

I felt the same way about a cigar I got from a guy at work. A Plasencia or something like that. He gave me one at work, tasted pretty good. Went a few weeks later and bought 3 of them and none of them were that great. Must have been a bad batch, lol.

I really love them. But the last two, including the one I am burning now were a bit plugged. Got them from two different sources, both Clasico size.?????

Smoked quite a few when I first got into cigars, but eventually outgrew my love for the "pepper" flavored cigars.

I smoke them all the time. Love them and if I get enough of them I don't let them sit around. Man I need to learn to let things sit for a while.

James.
