Anyone else see this?

In Florida they have a 250$ usd fine / cleaning fee. I can understand, if a room smells like cigarette smoke it is disgusting to me. It is their hotel and we are paying to get in...

It can lead to some precarious window smoking though and that is never a safe option imo.
 
Not uncommon. Even in smoking rooms, cigars will set off the smoke detector, so they are a no-no!
 
I usually don't smoke inside anyway. When I went to Mexico a couple of years ago and got my hands on my first Cuban Cohiba, it was nice to savor it on the patio outside.
