Anyone here have experience with Vigilant humidors

I've gotten a lot of helpful advice about Aristocrat humidors..... -however, since I'm about to spend a lot of money, I'm trying to learn about all my options. Vigilant's look darn nice! -There more expensive then Aristocrats. So I ask, are they better- worse? ......would they be a better investment compared to the other 'set & forget' temp/humidity controlled cabinet humidors- like the aristocrat?

  1. There are others in addition to VIGILANT. Some are costly some less/equal
  2. And the 'SetN Forget' is no longer what was originally used! Now Aristrocrat uses what I 'pioneered' since 2000! Imitation is the sincerest form of flatery.... thanks Bob!
  3. "INVESTMENT" in a humidor can be as little as the cost of a coolerdor so preference, ego, taste and buget usually make for 'why this VS that"

I saved up for a while and don't have a problem admitting that my ego is pushing toward a really beautiful cabinet. However, in the end I'm just very interested in purchasing the best unit that has the storage space for about 50 boxes.

Some features I provide are not offered anywhere by anyone with my experience and >10 year reputatation not the least of which are:
  • accesss to humidifier without going into cigar storage compartment
  • AC units mounted in the base to allow maximum cigar storage space within the cabinet itself
  • the 'quietness' of an Temp controlled unit. Frequently my clients like the idea that their humidor is quieter than their wifes kitchen refridgerator and runs less frequently. AC units are modified to be quiter and more twice the # AC units are provided. Also rather than mere R-10 insulation mine use R-45 vacumm panel Aeorspace insulation

Respectfully, I know what goes into the Cabinets I build and what is used in others. You do get what you pay for in mine.
