Hey all I have been trying to PM smokeyscotch for a while now with no response. I was in the Illusione 68 split some time back and never got my smokes due to him not getting my address. Does anyone on here know him personally. If so maybe see whats up, or have him PM or, e-mail me.. This is not a negative message.. Im just trying to get my hands on some 68's. Thanks :ss

That would be Tim, have you visited his homepage listed on his profile. It list some additional email addresses that you can contact him at. Good Luck.

Thanks for calling me, Doc. Also, thanks for the confidence you have in me SmokeyJoe and Tzaddi. I just sent you a PM, Kris. I apologize for the problems we have had with the 68's. I hope what I proposed was satisfactory. I'll also take this time to say, I miss you guys. Just working a lot. With gas @ $4 a gal, no one buys many pics. I am doing custom auto and bike paint again. It is keeping me buuuussy. I just wanted you to know that I could nevert forget about CS and all my friendships.
All of you remember smokey loves ya!:tu

I will try to post some pics of some of the work I have been doing soon. I just finished a pretty sweet 67 Mustang. Went to bare metal and came back up with new interior, paint, etc. now if I can get paid.:ss

Glad to see nothin' bad happened to 'ya Tim and you are doing well.

My mother was an original buyer of a '65 and drove that thing into the ground, finally selling it to my uncle for a complete restoration. I'm all for Mustang photos. :tu

Most guys I know will not do custom work without at least 1/2 paid down. For the same reason you just alluded to. Would love to see some of your work, your pics are excellant. I have thought about nice paint for my tins, but ride to much and in crappy weather to justify it.

Tim! Come home man!

(Probably still digging out from that strike a few months back...lol)

Naw...........

Tim's mostly working his ass off at two jobs. Been there, done that, know the issues.

Economy picks back up and his photography business kicks back into full swing, he'll be back in form.

Until then: Tim, you have my number, let me know if you need anything.

I got half up front on this one. However, we built up a lot of extras. you know how Ealenor was in "Gone in 60 seconds"? This car has been my Ealenor. I just hope when they put the 429 Cobra Jet in it, they don't screw up paint. For some reason people want to paint before putting in engines now. Send me those tins. I'll bomb you with a paint job.:tu I need some advertising pieces.:D
I'd love to see a pic of the bike. You ride a Soft Tail, Dyna Glide, or Chopper? I am about to true flame my brother's Buell Firebolt.

You've got to take deposits on jobs like that! I don't mean to get you down because almost all of the time, the owners come through but I've heard a couple of stories of resto-shops doing work then the owner can come up with the $$$ in the end.

Best of luck and thanks for bringing some classics back to life.:tu
