<o></o>What is the plastic backing (at a loss for a better word) called that I have seen used for needle point crafts. I have seen it in white and it is semi ridged with a bunch of holes drilled in it so you can do needle point crafts. I think it is used for making like wall hanging stuff of some sort. I have been looking online for hours trying to figure out what it is. I am trying to find out if they make it in clear but I do not know what it is called. <o>

I just bought some of that stuff tonight! I got it at my local hobby store (called Hobby Lobby) in the fabric/yarn section. It's actually made for threading yarn through it (or something like that). You can get it in different hole sizes. The sheets are dirt cheap.
 
I use clear plastic trays that you put under pots that hold plants to avoid any dirt spillage. Look nice, are about 8", in diameter and an inch high so there is lots of surface area and only 34 cents apiece at Wal-Mart.
