I've been pretty much non-existent on the board lately and am glad to sneek a few minutes to post. As some of you know or may have guessed, I have become heavily envolved with the launching of the Avalon cigar brand. I will be functioning as their "cigar" guy. I'm putting my 20+ years of cigar experience in play in a dream that I thought would never happen. I've been working on some exciting new blends both in Miami and Nicaragua. The initial taste testing has been far better than I would have hoped and I can't wait for you guys to try these sticks. Our first real shipment of cigars is leaving our Miami warehouse as I type. I welcome all feedback, good and bad as these cigars make they're way into you're b&m's. I will be available to answer any questions you might have about our cigars, and customer service and satisfaction is going to be my benchmark. We got a lot of love and warm wishes from the cigar community at RTDA this year, now its time for the cigars to do the talking. I will be checking in often, so fire away.

Nice to see you back posting Mike. Your considerable NC knowledge has been sorely missed.

Any chance these will be available online somewhere?

Serious cigars in Houston is our only approved online dealer at this point, Ron is a great guy, he's got a few sticks left from RTDA and his first order of the entire Masters series left Miami today.

Or B&M? Do you have any idea where they are heading?

We are developing our sales rep network all over the country, we've pretty much got the whole US covered. The packaging has been the hold up on getting em out in real quantities until this point. The boxes and packaging are finally like we want them and our initial orders have started shipping as of today. I'm compiling a list of all the stores that will be getting cigars in the next week or so. Let me know where you are and I'll try and direct you to the nearest location.

Speaking for myself and the whole Avalon team, I can't tell you how excited we are to have Mike (pathman) on board. He has forgotten more about cigars than I can hope to ever learn.

As he said, we are rolling the line out across the country and I am spending most of my time riding along with the reps. I'll try to post my travel schedule so that any of you who are interested can possibly come out to your local retailer and say hello while I am in your area.

Best and warmest regards,

Tom

time for me to chime in.

Are these going to be sold over seas, like in europe or better germany??

As you can imagine, we are working very hard to get these great cigars distributed throughout the US. We are open to shipping overseas, just haven't made it that far up the ladder. The way I see it, if there's a guy who wants one of my sticks, I'm going to find a way to get it in his hands.

I like to try new cigars, however finding that diamond in the ruff is what make this such a great hobby..

Is there anywhere/anyway to buy a sampler of each line?

Ron at Serious Cigars in Houston will be our only online retailer for the time being. He will be getting in the complete Masters series early next week and I'm sure he would be happy to put something together for you. As for the Juke line, they are still a few weeks away from shipping.
