Bachelor Party Sticks

I was driving through a new area today, and saw a sign for a cigar shop and since I had a few minutes on my hands, dropped in to see what they had. They had some flor de olivias and so I bought a single to see if I would enjoy it. The store had bundles for sale for $60, which was outrageous compared to what I had seen at Famous. So, I will torch it and see if I'm going to pull the trigger on a bundle. Thanks again for all of your suggestions. Keep 'em coming in case I hate this Flor de Olivia

Is the "Douglassville" in your profile location in reference to PA?

If so, you were probably in Reading and I know what shop you were in :) The prices are high on the Flor de Oliva line there. I think they are still worth the $2.50 each but can be had for 1/2 the price online.

In addition to Famous, they can be had at www.AtlanticCigar.com for a fair price as well.

Edit:
Scratch that, just saw your GA intro post.

I would also recommend the following, each one is a bit unique, and all are well-priced

Punch Rare Corojo
RP Selects Bundle
LVH Maduro

:blCongrats on the wedding! :bl

I was just DD for a bachelor party this past weekend. To be honest, by the end of the night they really didn't care what they were smoking. I brought along some La Vieja Habana belicoso D. They are not too heavy for the the non-regulars, and not too light for the guys who smoke on a regular basis. Great flavor, Great Band, and at 40 something a box it'll leave a few ones in the pocket incase you end up at the "ballet" like we did.

Again, congrats on the wedding man.

:tpd: I would stick to something simple because I'll be doing the same in about 20 days for my buddy. I'm thinking of just getting a box of nice sticks...Mild-Med bodied for a decent price. My boys won't appreciate it but they'll trust me when I say..that is some good stuff!:tu

Congrats!:bl

If I remember correctly you are in GA and here we have over 20% tobacco tax that you don't pay online.

I recommend the Don Tomas Clasico , $46 for a box of the robustos at CI and JRs. You can also get the tubos for at little more $.

Congrats on the wedding:tu

I just bought a bundle of Flor de Olivia robustos from CI. I smoked the one I got from a B&M and enjoyed it. I hope my guys will.

Flor De Oliva is my vote. No need to buy $5 or $6 sticks for people who probably won't smoke the whole thing anyway.
