well this is the last day of summer for me:hn, tomorrow college starts up. at least i had a cigar today. i had a Gurkha Centurian, so that was good. i remember reading about some other people having to go back to college so im wondering if anyone is/had a cigar for the occasion.
 
I dropped the daughter off yesterday and smoked a Rocky Patel The Edge Torpedo Maduro on the way home :tu

Last day of summer for me too although my relaxing and enjoyment comes tomorrow after the first class is over. that'll be nice! :tu
 
I start tomorrow at 9:30am too, and I had a nice last summer night at the cigar shop for a barbecue with Rocky Patel, a nice Summer Collection lancero and a small glass of his home-made dessert wine. Tomorrow I might have to celebrate the first day with something nice...
 
Ah college, been 17 years since my last day at graduation, course then I went on to grad school to prolong that wonderful time. Fall, football, women, parties, women, man I loved college. In honor of higher education I'll smoke an Opus X tomorrow afternoon for you guys at the golf course :) Stay in school :ss
 
I didn't realize school was starting so early for you guys. I don't start until the second week in September. I'll make sure to smoke plenty of stogies before that. Out of the 6 I've had, I've greatly appreciated two:

1) Gurkha Signature
2) Carlos Torano 1916

The latter made me very sick though, after I huffed and puffed the entire thing myself within the hour. Glad to have joined this hobby. Going to set myself up with another sampler soon so I have a chance to experiment many different cigars. Shame though. Along with a new semester comes a new season of cold weather. Goodbye cigars for me :(
 
Glad I'm not going to school :chk Wife teaches first grade though, so she'll be going in tommorow. Only has to deal with the little monsters til end of Nov though

I go back to a full class load September 3rd. I have been teaching two days a week through the last summer session.


Don't cry about the loss of summer rejoice in the on set of fall and hunting season..................
