Bad Day at Work

Thank you all. I appreciate the good thoughts. I've already started beating the bushs. I am positive that something will turn up.

I can understand why a company wouldn't let anyone know in advance, but it still sucks.

That is crummy. I just want to tell you that you will find something better than what you have today. I've been there and it just hurts. It is not you or about your abilities, its not. I know that guys jobs are so much about who we are. It is not personal, don't take it as such. It just is. Don't settle for the first thing that comes along but find that job that you will love to do. PM me if you would like to consider some options that I know have worked for me in the past.

I'm here for you brother.

I missed this the first time around Tony....I am sorry that you were let go in such a crappy way, and wish you the best in finding something soon. Everything happens for a reason, I think better things are coming for you.

That really bites Tony! Sorry to hear that but Mike is right.. another door opens. This could be a blessing in disguise.
 
Good luck to you. As said before, at least the severance package was decent. They could have given you nothing or two weeks. 2 months of pay and insurance is nice.
