Benefits of a ClubStogie Membership

Don't forget the hat

I don't donate for what I might get but for what I have already received; friendship and knowledge. I donate so the site will be around so that others may experience the same. I would caution folks who are struggling with cash flow to make good decisions on how to spend their money, though. I remember when 20 bucks could (and had to) feed me for most of a week. Nobody will look down on you if you just can't afford to donate.

:tpd: I love to show support to something that has given me so much in return. You won't get anything fancier than what you have now (expect for the icon in your posts), but it goes to offset the costs of the site. Well worth every penny.

So that's the warm and fuzzy feeling? Good, I thought for a second that I'd set my pants on fire again...all those hot deals from the Devil Site I guess?

:ss

It offsets many of the costs involved in running a site which has to come to be one of the largest on the web. Its not required to donate, and strictly voluntary.

Although donating to CS has its benefits, I personally do it as often as I do because CS is my home. Its kind of like investing in your house.

Well, I'm not trying to get anything out of this site in the material sense, not at all. I was just curious what paying members received that the rest of us didn't.

As I've said, I plan on doing it eventually, but currently I've got some expenses. In the past couple of months, I've had seemingly more and more difficulty walking without tiring so easily. A lot of this comes from the fact that I can't put a lot of weight onto my heels when I step without losing balance; the result is I walk on my toes and suffer blisters constantly.

This has probably been the cause of my lax social life, so hopefully the stem cell injections can correct some of the brain damage wrought by my disability, and thus turn everything around down the road. I can't begin to tell you exactly what it would me to me to comfortably walk down the aisle someday, and then step out for a cigar with the groomsmen :ss.

You're all good people on here, I can tell that just by reading your posts. I'm not sure how I came to stumble upon this site, I think I was looking for a tupperdor tutorial that I ultimately found elsewhere lol. But, you lured me in with freebies, and kept me hooked with the strongest sense of camaraderie I have ever felt. That's benefit enough for me to stay, even if I don't pay for awhile. $30,000 is a long ways off, but I've got a little saved up, and I dig here and there to further the goal.

You folks just keep me sane; I can't tell ya what it means to see replies so swiftly given to me, or to read an entertaining post, or even get the occasional PM. Quite the hobby indeed, eh?

CS has given me so much before I became a supporter. It only seemed natural to give back a little to keep this wonderful place going. The friendship's I have made in the past year go far beyond anything monetary I can ever return. This truly is a special place.:chk:chk:chk

One benefit is that you get a lot more storage for PM's! Saves cleaning things up so often.:tu

What other site has dancing chickens!:chk:chk:chk

I was here for over a year before I donated. In all honesty, it was a spur of the moment for me :). I didn't have a consistent internet access at the time (was in the process of moving), but I found that CS was one of my consistent sites I would go to when I did get on the web. So one day, thinking of this, I decided that I would donate to the site. I just felt that if this community draws me in even when I have trouble getting internet access, than it deserves some donation on my part. This is a great message board with great members...I want to see it continue and prosper :ss.

If you can afford it, it's just $20. If you can't, it's not expected.

I've gotten exponentially (fancy math word) more out of the jungle than I could ever buy for $20...

Plus, sometimes folks run site supporter contests and stuff. Usually these are folks that have wicked good prizes.

The majority of my friends on the site are supporters as well, but not all. I don't bother to ask the 'non-supporters' why they don't. I sleep better at night knowing that my $20 will help the site perpetuate, and that's all right by me.

No one asked me to donate cigars to the troops, either. But, it makes me sleep better at night.

I donated. This place rocks. Plus it helps keep the place up and running and giving me the chance to learn even more about cigars.

Just doeeet, you won't regret it!

:tpd: When and only when you can afford it take Nike's advice...just do it!

I spend more time surfing Club Stogie than anything else on the web. Since no one hounds you to make a donation, It took me a while to realize there was a way to offer support. Once I saw the light it was just the right thing to do.

I threw a donation over the pond cuz im on here everyday! Its your choice bro imho you get no better or no worse thought of either way, thing is, where else could you say that?
The choice is yours, whatever reason you have to do/dont, id miss this place if it disappeared and feel guilty if i hadnt done my bit to keep it here just my :2 bro :tu
