I don't donate for what I might get but for what I have already received; friendship and knowledge. I donate so the site will be around so that others may experience the same. I would caution folks who are struggling with cash flow to make good decisions on how to spend their money, though. I remember when 20 bucks could (and had to) feed me for most of a week. Nobody will look down on you if you just can't afford to donate.

Well, I'm not trying to get anything out of this site in the material sense, not at all. I was just curious what paying members received that the rest of us didn't.
As I've said, I plan on doing it eventually, but currently I've got some expenses. In the past couple of months, I've had seemingly more and more difficulty walking without tiring so easily. A lot of this comes from the fact that I can't put a lot of weight onto my heels when I step without losing balance; the result is I walk on my toes and suffer blisters constantly.
This has probably been the cause of my lax social life, so hopefully the stem cell injections can correct some of the brain damage wrought by my disability, and thus turn everything around down the road. I can't begin to tell you exactly what it would me to me to comfortably walk down the aisle someday, and then step out for a cigar with the groomsmen :ss.
You're all good people on here, I can tell that just by reading your posts. I'm not sure how I came to stumble upon this site, I think I was looking for a tupperdor tutorial that I ultimately found elsewhere lol. But, you lured me in with freebies, and kept me hooked with the strongest sense of camaraderie I have ever felt. That's benefit enough for me to stay, even if I don't pay for awhile. $30,000 is a long ways off, but I've got a little saved up, and I dig here and there to further the goal.
You folks just keep me sane; I can't tell ya what it means to see replies so swiftly given to me, or to read an entertaining post, or even get the occasional PM. Quite the hobby indeed, eh?
