Best Carlos Torano cigars?

I stopped by but couldn't stay since my wife was with me and wanted to wait in the car. I picked up an assortment of singles, Casa Torano in natural and maduro, a 1916, Signature, and a couple Exodus Golds. I got a freebie Silver Exodus and tried it when I got home but was disappointed - very tight draw and not much smoke even down toward the end. Hopefully the others will be better after resting a while.

I picked up an assortment of 50 to split with my buddy and got fourteen free plus 2 hats and cutters. 32 cigars for 100 bucks a piece (with the discount we worked). We both smoked a RESERVA and the SIGNATURE. The reserva was great light bodied smoke with a lot of flavor. The signature was good just not as flavorful.

I think the Exodus robustos are one of the best cigar deals out there under $100. I have gone through a couple of boxes of these and they have been very consistant:tu A good solid medium full bodied cigar IMO

I bought a five pak of the 1959 Exodus and the 1916's. Liked both of them. So bought a box of the 1959's and TWO of the 1916's.

They came with a Sampler of the entire line. Which may be trouble!!

I've been an occasional cigar smoker for the past twenty five years. But I usually smoked only a few different brands in the mild to medium strength range.

Just recently I started to really experiment and try different brands, first time in several years. I can't get over how many great smokes are out there right now! The Torano's are one of them. Now to try a few different vitolas within the 1916's and 1959's.

Silver exodus, cam 1916, and sigs are my favorites.

I tell you what though I happened to pull out a 2 year old Casa Torano for the drive into work the other day and it was a very satisfying morning smoke. Milder side of medium with plenty of flavor. I thought 2 years would have washed it out, but it was spot on as far as I am concerned. Makes me happy I picked up a box of the Casa Maduros. Been sitting for a couple months now - time to dive in.

While I enjoy ALL of the Toranos, the Exodus 1959 (the real one, gold label) is still my favorite smoke. It's the one that pushed me down the cigar slope.

I completely agree. The gold Exodus was my go-to cigar when I first started. I'm still a big Torano fan and like the Virtuoso right now. The Casa Maduro has one of the most interesting tastes I've experienced (in a good way).

The sampler pack is always tempting me.

Virtually every Torano cigar is a decent smoke. I'd say the Virtuoso is my least favorite of the series (actually, their new Reserva Decadencia is), while the Signature Perfecto to be the best.

I had the opposite experience with the Silver Exodus. The robustos I have tried have been easy to draw, plenty of smoke and a good taste, especially for a lighter cigar.

In this order:

Gold 1959
Signature
Casa Maduro
Casa
Cameroon 1916
Silver 1959
Virtuoso

I have a Reserva courtesy of SvilleKid that I'm still waiting to try. Never had a Reserva Decadencia.

i have tried most of them... i enjoyed the silver 1959's until i had the signature.. bought a box and made them my daily smoke for a short time.. i am out now but this reminded me to pick up some more...
have fun at the event!!!!

Just finish my first Exodus 59, toro, perfect match for me as an after dinner smoke. I found it packed with flavor and enjoyed it from beginning to the end. See where the Signature series has also been recommended, I'll have to give them a try. Attempting to compile a Top 10 selection, for the price, I would place the Exodus in the top 5.
