Best Cigar Cutters?

Palio- Lost mine....bought another immediately...found the first. One in my travel humi, one in my big humi. Spend the $35 and never look back. :ss

Palio. There is no substitute. My Xikar broke about a year ago, so I bought a Palio. I haven't bothered to send my Xikar in for repairs, because I haven't needed it.

Since cutters are already on the table, has anyone used a Xikar Mean Sardine? If so, how are they? I've used my standard Xikar since 2001 without a problem, and wondered if these have the same quality in blades.

And to stay on topic, my vote goes for Xikar Xi or Xi2 for everyday use.

I prefer my Zino.

I've had mine for 8 years now and wouldn't use anything else . My wife gave me Davidoff Zino dbl blade guillotine cutter on Fathers day the year my first child was born , great cutter , great wife and a great daughter . Almost forgot to add that it cuts my La Gloria Serie R #6 naturals perfectly and they are a 60 ring cigar , the opening just lets the perfect amount of cap stick through to be snipped off .

At first I was apprehensive about coughing up the dough for a Palio, but it was well worth it...laser straight cuts every time. The cheapos I used to buy eventually equaled smooshed cigars after they wore out. I might actually buy another one for "emergency" purposes!

I just received my Palio this past Saturday from Mark and, despite only cutting 3 cigars with it, I don't think you'll find a better cutter. Period. I'm sold for life.

I picked up a Palio early on and have never looked back.

I'm with you on this one. I had a few cheap store cutters early on and they just didn't do it. So, I bought a Palio and never looked back. I've got a composite black one and would like to get a burl wood in the near future.
