best value connecticut wrapper cigar?

I haven't really explored into the connecticut wrapper cigars.

what's a good entry into that world for an affordable price.

I usually smoke maduros and would like to try something with a bit creamier, smoother taste for a change of pace.

I love the Don Tomas SE #100 Churchill Cigars, they are about $3.90 ea in a box of 25 but I've been lucky to get them for $2.00+ ea on auction. I've also tried the #500's not as good as the #100's but still a good smooth smoke.

I forgot about the Famous Dominican 4000, I'm with borndead1, they are an excellent mild cigar. I have four bungles of them and have had several complements from people when smoking one. An excellent bang $$ for the buck with a Connecticut wraper.

I'd vote for the 5 Vegas but they aren't meant to age, a box I've had for a year is very very flat. The Gispert is also great at under $3 a stick. I also like the RP Conni.

I enjoy the Gran Habano Connecticut series. Lots of smooth flavor and very affordable.

Two others that haven't been mentioned:

Cu-Avana (box of 20 = $40) and
Fonseca 5-50 (box of 24 = $75)

Both are very flavorful, creamy and somewhat sweet.

I like the Helix cigars, you dont hear much about but i find them to be pretty good and their cheap

I agree. Cusano 18 is a great smoke, great draw, but a little more $$$.
