Hey, and Merry Christmas to all!!!!!!

I paid 17.00 today for 1 Between the Lines. I was just wondering if I got riipped off. What is everyone else paying?

at your local b&m? We get them at Tampa Sweethearts for $12 or $13 but you have to buy a bundle of Tampa Sweethearts and then you can buy 2 of any of the special Fuente's.

Buying the bundle isn't an issue with us cause they are our everyday cigar.
 
No not my regular B&M. I got it at the mall. I've been hearing alot of good things about those Tampa sweethearts lately. I might have to check that out.

I supppose I didnt get ripped to bad. I thought that price was kinda high. I had never seen one in person before so I couldn't resist.

Whats a few bucks more for a cigar. Smoke it and enjoy it.
 
My local shops are pretty good at keeping the premium Fuentes stocked, but I've yet to even see a BTL.
 
i've always wanted to try one but my small local B&M is in a college town and doens't cary the higher end stuff for the most part
 
I actually bought a box of these today, but thought $455 for a box of Between the Lines was way to expensive for the time being. So I returned it and bought a box of 55s and 50s instead.

Are they worth $455 a box??? The store had 3 boxes and the salesmen said he hasn't seen them in 3 years.

I've seen them go for 750 and up...I think 450+ is expensive for a box of non-cubans. The few BTL's I've tried seem like a Short Story and they only cost $4 a piece but to each his own.

:tpd: I would much rather smoke a short story.
 
I bought two last year for $13/per and they're still going for the same this year. I told myself I just had to have them. I had the opportunity to smoke one before I smoked my two and it was one of the biggest disappointments ever for me. The two "had to have" BTL ended up being given away. IMO, eye candy, yes. Good smoke, no.
 
To me those prices are way over the top. You have all played right into Arturo's hand. :)

I'd much rather spend my money on something that I feel is not over-hyped. Besides, Cubans are cheaper - :w :w :w
