Bolivar Dominican Review

To celebrate Easter, I fired up one of my all-time favorite smokes, a Bolivar Dominican I purchased from www.mikescigars.com in a 3-pack on 2/22/08 for $12.20!!! A great cigar at a great price!!! This baby has a great "tobacco" aroma pre-light. Burn was very even, but the draw was a little tight on this smoke, not unbearable, but a little tight for my taste. The cigar had a little spice to its taste, with mostly a full, smooth and rich tobacco flavor and aroma. I only had to re-light twice, but the wind was blowing 20-30 mph, so I can't blame the cigar!!! Ash was a solid light gray that held together for 1 1/2". This cigar is one of the richest, smoothest smokes I've ever had, especially for $4 a stick! Overall rating 9/10!!! You all need to try this smoke!!! Happy Easter, everyone!!!

I too think these are a great, overlooked smoke. I prefer the toro size. Nice taste and very nice aroma - one of the best I've experienced on that score.
Thanks for the review.
